Fokie Dope, is an American rapper, songwriter, musician, record producer and entrepreneur from Detroit Michigan. Bread by the streets, brought up in the rugged neighborhoods of six mile and John R. Fokie Dope developed the hustle mentality and relentless grit that placed his abilities & talents at the forefront, rather pressured board rooms or the streets. Combining syncing elements of sounds for more than fifteen years, Fokie Dope created a distinct baseline he’d name “Boom Trap”, a combination of poetics & trap influence. “I grew up listening to various genres of music & learned then to appreciate the depths each person brought to there unique lane; I’m talking Diamond of Crime Mobb all the way to the King of pop Michael Jackson.” Fokie Dope credits his boss acumen to the likes of the greats including Jay Z. With such love for fashion, Fokie Dope’s style for what he jokingly considers good to be a big dude, love for wrestling, rolled blunts accompanied by beautiful women in underwear, and philanthropic efforts make up his off sound sphere. Despite anything that life has presented, Fokie Dope has never lost his passion for music. The motivation to help the youth by offering various outreach programs through creative outlets is the result. Some of Fokie Dopes major influences are Jay-Z and Nas, Gucci Mane, Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Mulatto & various other talents. Be on the look out for more music soon.
